The last few weeks have seen seismic shifts in the COVID-19 workplace safety landscape. Below is a state-by-state summary of some of the most important changes (and continued requirements):
CDC Updates
The CDC recently updated its face covering guidance to state that individuals should wear face coverings that (a) are made of two or more layers; (b) are made of a fabric that does not make it hard to breathe, such as vinyl; and (c) do not have exhalation valves.
The updated guidance also makes clear that effectiveness of gaiters and face shields are unknown.
