On March 3, 2022, Indiana Governor Eric J. Holcomb issued Executive Order 22-09 rescinding his previous public health emergency declaration regarding COVID-19. The order became effective immediately and repealed all emergency directives except for one regarding the temporary licensing of certain health care workers. The rescission came only a few days short of the two-year anniversary of the initial declaration of emergency.
